However, the process of acquiring this skill isn't affordable. You have to consider a variety of costs, including the cost of training and the exam. For truck drivers who are licensed to drive trucks, a Code 95 certificate is necessary to drive trucks weighing more than 7.5 tons in Europe. The certificate has to be added to a driver's license category C or C+E and is valid for five years. The certificate can be added to C1 or C1E licences, which allows the driver to use lighter trailer combinations.
To obtain a Code 95 certificate, you must undergo a medical exam and take an exam called a psychotest. After you have completed the course, you will receive a plastic Code 95 Certificate that can be added to your driving license. The cost of the Code 95 Certificate is the same as other types of driving lessons. As trainers you must follow the guidelines to be able give a class that meets Code 95. You must first submit a plan of instruction to the CBR. This plan must be endorsed by the CBR prior to classes begin. You will also have to follow the strict rules throughout the training.
You will receive a certificate from the CBR once you completed the course successfully. Then, you can forward this to the RDW. You can then renew your license at the municipality after you have submitted your application successfully. If you don't renew your license before the expiry date, you are not able to operate trucks or buses professionally for more than 12 hours per week. Exams
In order to obtain the code 95 indication on your licence, you must pass both theoretic and practical exams. These tests can be taken separately or together with the acquisition of the basic category license at a driving school. Upon successful completion of the exams, you will be given a certificate and code 95 card. The card is valid for five years and has to be renewed prior to the expiration date.

To drive a truck, you need a driver's licence C. This is the largest driver's licence in Europe. You also must pass a medical exam.
You must also have a driving licence C or D for buses and passenger cars. The requirements for bus drivers are different than truck drivers and passenger cars, since they must pass a written exam and an oral test. Requirements
